I first met Paul when we were attending Carleton U in the mid 60’s. We were both enrolled in the Canadian Officers Training Corps and spent our first summer at Camp Chilliwack where we were also roommates. After Paul left Carleton I did not see him again until I became an OL S and we renewed our friendship at that time. I last saw him in February at the AGM and am shocked to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family.

Always looked forward to seeing Paul once a year at the AGM and listening to his lively stories, like his canoeing adventures in Algonquin Park. We rarely missed a year sharing a beer or dinner together at the annual event.

I am saddened to hear of Paul's passing and so suddenly. He was a good surveyor and I learned a lot from him, in the 80's working for him and the 00's working with him. He was always ready for a game of golf, a laugh, or the occasional beer, alright, maybe two. He could be counted on to bring a counter point argument to any discussion, which kept many people on their toes, not just myself.

So sad to hear of another old friend passed away. Paul and I first met while taking the OLD courses way back in the 1960's our registration numbers being just "2" apart.
