The Association of Ontario Land Surveyors is sad to notify you of the death of Charles Robert Morgan, OLS# 876.
MORGAN, Charles Robert - May 23, 1919 - June 29, 2018 Charles Robert Morgan, 99, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake, Ontario. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Norma Jean (nee Robb) and five children; Charlene, Leslie (Russell), Katherine (Chris), Peter (Jesse), Andrew and his seven grandchildren: Brooke, Adam, Dalyce, Darin, Tyler, Brandon and Ryan. Son of William and Alice Morgan of Guysborough, N.S. Brother to, now deceased, John (Bertha), Edward (Fran), Douglas (Marion), Joseph (Mildred-surviving), Clinton (Margaret), Clair (Winifred-surviving), Mae and survived by Clyde (Mary) and Carrie (Curt). Chuck, as he was known, attended Dalhousie University, became a surveyor which he practiced for many years in Kirkland Lake and later found that claim staking was his passion. Cremation has taken place. Memorial scattering of his ashes will occur on May 23, 2019, which would have been his 100th birthday, in Guysborough.
